1 oz $100 AUD Australian Platinum Platypus Coin (Backdated) Year: Backdated (our choice) Grade: Any Country: Australia Denomination: $100 AUD Manufacturer: Perth Mint Metal Content: 1 troy oz Purity: .9995 Fine Platinum This 1 oz Australian Platinum Platypus is a $100 AUD coin in .9995 fine platinum from the Perth Mint — a backdated (our-choice year) ounce featuring Australia’s unique monotreme, at the European Mint. Design: The platypus — egg-laying, duck-billed, and found only in Australia — is a natural subject for Perth Mint wildlife platinum. Reverse designs celebrate the animal in its riverine habitat; the obverse shows the monarch for the date struck. Backdated inventory means the year is selected from available stock. It is a 1 oz Platinum Platypus — not a koala, kangaroo, or silver wildlife coin. Product details: Backdated year · $100 AUD · 1 troy oz · .9995 fine platinum · Perth Mint.
