ベヒーモス III - Behemoth III - UNIQUE - 80x100cm

Some creatures arrive without explanation and immediately make themselves comfortable. Behemoth is enormous, black, and equipped with far too many sharp teeth—but judging by his expression, he couldn’t be happier. The girl seems equally pleased with the arrangement. He hugs, she relaxes, everyone else keeps a respectful distance. Friendship comes in many forms. This one is their favorite. Maybe yours too?

WHY WORTH THE PRICE:

Original acrylic artwork on canvas. "Behemoth" 2026 series. 100% hand-painted. Gallery estimate: up to €2,000. For collectors, works from the opening year of a new series have a particular significance as they document the series at its earliest stage. Signed by the artist on the back side with title, year, and the artist's full name. Hand-signed certificate of authenticity with a dry seal included. Characters appear monumental and comical with Roger's unique sense of humour at play. The lines are bold, the colours vibrant, and the figures sharply defined. Shipped carefully rolled (without a frame) in a protective tube for a safe delivery. The artwork might appear differently in photos, depending on the camera settings. Scale is doing real work here as at 1 metre high, the scene takes up a dominant space in your room. Some of the photographs show the painting digitally placed in an interior for reference.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Roger Haus [1984] has been delivering the wow factor in his work for over a decade. Trained at La Llotja Art and Crafts Academy in Barcelona, one of Spain's oldest and most prestigious art institutions, where renowned artists like Picasso and Miró honed their craft, Roger Haus later continued his training at IDEP Academy, known for its strong emphasis on technological integration. Meanwhile, passionate about manga, street art, and photography, he filled the streets with graffiti and his notebooks with daily illustrations. In 2015, Roger expressed an interest in the use of generative networks for his drawings and paintings, making him one of the early pioneers. Today, his art has been exhibited in the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea, making big waves on social media. Roger has collaborated with prominent institutions, including Universal Music, the Picasso Museum, CaixaForum, and the Joan Miró Foundation.
