Résumé assisté par IA

Description fournie par le vendeur

A Japanese Kyo-yaki matcha tea bowl featuring a deep, luminous glaze and an exquisite lineage.

This tea bowl is directly associated with Hongan-ji Temple in Kyoto. The underside of the original wooden box lid bears the official branded seal of "Hongan-ji" (本願寺) along with the handwritten poetic name (mei) "Tekisui" (滴翠). Furthermore, the artist's mark stamped inside a gourd-shaped cartouche near the foot ring (kodai) explicitly reads "Tekisui" (滴翠), matching the name on the box.

"Tekisui" is derived from Tekisui-en (滴翠園), the famous National Treasure garden located within the historic Hongan-ji Temple complex in Kyoto.

Artistic Features:
Glaze & Color:
Finished with a deep, mirror-like black glaze (Kuro-yu) showcasing stunning purplish-blue iridescent kiln transformations (Yohen) along the rim and upper body. The subtle gradation between the dark background and the soft violet/blue aura gives it a dramatic, ethereal presence.
Craftsmanship:
Beautifully hand-thrown with gentle horizontal ridge marks (rokuro-me) and an expertly finished foot ring (kodai) that reveals the fine, light-colored natural clay texture underneath.
Markings:
Features a distinct gourd-shaped seal stamped on the base bearing the characters "Tekisui" (滴翠).

Dimensions & Weight:
Diameter: 12.2 cm
Height: 8.0 cm
Foot Diameter (Kodai): 5.0 cm
Weight: 271 g

Note: The highly reflective, glossy surface causes natural studio light reflections in photos.
