Type Xa; Knob type G; guard type 2 date the sword in the period 1050 to 1200 AD (after Ewart Oakeshott).
In contrast to type X the groove runs narrower at this sword, the blade is slightly longer and ends pointed. Disc knob (disc) with central depression. Cross-guard with square cross-section
The sword is completely stable; Professionally treated - absolute museum quality! The nicks in the sharpness (blade) indicate traces of combat.
