A beautiful, very rare colour agate natural designed bead talisman pectoral from the ancient Silk Road,Central Asian culture.
First Millennium AD.
In good condition. It has been cleaned in a tumbler and repolished, so its sueface is shiny and smooth,but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, boring and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 2005/Paris by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
