Husk is a unique vessel crafted by Atelier Colby, a deep bowl with an undulating pleated rim.
The bowl has been wet molded in 3mm natural vegetable tanned leather from Tuscany. It is stretched and shaped by hand, pinned, dried burnished and waxed.
The leather is tanned using water and natural organic materials like mimosa and chestnut bark. It is one of the most sustainable tanning techniques and creates a leather that responds to its environment over time, developing a distinct patina from where it is placed and how it is handled.
