Taste: On the palate, the whisky is balanced and complex. Intense fruit notes combine with spicy-sweet malt and a fresh fruitiness of orange zest. Dalmunach 2016/2023 - 7 years Ximénez-Spinola PX Cask Finish, 48,5%, 700ml This delicious whisky is made from malted barley and water. Completely smoke-free, this whisky envelops your palate. A brilliant 48.5% ABV brings the aromas to life. The Dalmunach shows its true color, as no artificial aids were used – the beautiful amber color developed naturally through cask aging. With this bottle, you are holding a 2016 vintage. It was bottled in 2023, meaning it was only aged for seven years. Therefore, it is less complex than older bottlings – yet still an exciting pleasure. This whisky was not bottled by Dalmunach itself, but by independent bottler Murray McDavid. Aroma: The aroma of fresh dates and chocolate pralines blends with creamy malt.
