Suntory was established by Shinjiro Torii in 1899 by opening a wine store in Osaka, the store was a huge success which eventually led to the building of its first distillery Yamazaki in 1924. In the 1970s this Suntory Custom Soft was released, a smooth and ‘soft’ blended whisky at 84 proof or otherwise known as 42% Abv. The aroma is gentle of cream, vanilla, and honey, and the palate too is soft with notes of apple pastry, honey, cherry and shortbread with a short finish of cinnamon, melon, pineapple and vanilla.
Aroma: Cream, Vanilla, and Honey
Palate: Soft, Apple Pastry, Honey, Cherry and Shortbread
Finish: Short Finish, Cinnamon, Melon, Pineapple and Vanilla
