Obv.: La ilaha illa Allah wahdahu la sharika lahu (“There is no god but God alone, He has no associate”) in three lines; mint name and date in marginal legend.
Rev.: Allah ahad, Allah al-samad, lam yalid wa lam yulad wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad (Qur’an 112, Sura al-Ikhlāṣ) in four lines; marginal legend from Qur’an 9:33: Muhammad rasul Allah arsalahu bi’l-huda wa din al-haqq li-yuzhirahu ‘ala al-din kullihi walaw kariha al-mushrikun (“Muhammad is the Messenger of God, sent with guidance and the true religion to prevail over all others, even though the polytheists dislike it”).
