A delightful silver gilt, glass and enamel perfume bottle, measuring circa 6cm in height and weighing 28g, the glass vessel engraved with a single laurel garland to the shoulder, the hinged lid decorated in polychrome enamels on guilloched silver ground with ribboned rose garlands.
Stamped to the rim with Austro-Hungarian silver hallmark used from 1872-1922, the hexagonal Diana head with cipher 2 for 900 silver and letter A for Vienna.
The tops of the letters G A S are visible stamped to the inside of the rim. Maker´s mark of Georg Adam Scheid, active in Vienna from 1862 to 1921.
Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
