These copies were produced for a short time only, between first pressing and first repress, featuring earliest use of the new black Harvest "blue outline prism" label design. These early transitional pressings, still have on labels the rim text starting as "The Gramophone Co. Ltd", and have been found with vinyl matrix A2/B2 or A3/B2 or A3/B3. Gatefold cover of these copies come with two shade of color: very dark blue or black. Many copies have been released with a sticker on front, although some do not have it. The front cover has two different types of front openings: - The right front opening of the gatefold cover is sealed with the two sides glued together. - The right front opening of the gatefold cover is not sealed. Rear top right corner has the text (IE 064 o 05249) between SHVL 804 and "stereo" centered (later copies have it left aligned). Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London between June 1972 and January 1973. Note on Credits: Though not detailed in the liner notes, Barry St. John, Doris Troy, Lesley Duncan, and Liza Strike perform backing vocals only on tracks A4, B2, B4, and B5.
