A rare oblong turquoise bead talisman from the ancient Chinese culture . First millennium BC,Han to Western Zhou.
In good condition. It has been cleaned partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting,carving and grinding. The holes are ancient , hand-made,iregular,funnel-shaped. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Budapest by Dr. Zelnik from the collection of a former ambassador in China, H.E.N.I.
