Description fournie par le vendeur
Published in 2024, this invasion map marks a key milestone in Invader’s career: the installation of his 1500th mosaic in Paris, placed on a chimney of the Centre Pompidou, and his major solo exhibition held in the former Libération newspaper building.
This third Paris map continues the artist’s iconic cartography of urban interventions across the French capital. A true collector’s piece, it documents his most recent works and celebrates over twenty-five years of invasion in the city where it all began. This map comes with the original information leaflet handed out during the Invader Space Station exhibition in Paris,
- Unfolded dimensions of the biggest size ever made: 63 x 96 cm ;
- This map has never been unfolded ;
- It is in perfect condition 10/10 ;
- The invasion map you are purchasing is indeed the one you see in our photos.
Born in 1969, Invader is now certainly considered, alongside Banksy, one of the most famous street artists in the world. It all began in the late 1990s when the Parisian artist decided to install his first mosaic in the streets, referencing the 1980s arcade game Space Invaders. To date, he has installed over 4000 of these mosaics, more than 1500 of which are in Paris. The Flash Invader app, created in 2014, has given him access to an enormous international audience, now boasting nearly 30 million flashes to date.
His work extends across prints, invasion kits, aliases, works made from Rubik’s Cubes, and other pieces and objects that play with pixels and reflect broader popular culture. His fan base is extensive; they are the ones who eagerly buy every book and product the artist regularly releases, as demonstrated by the major retrospective exhibition held in Paris in 2024.
With several auction records, including a piece that sold for over a million euros in 2015, his works are highly valuable today, and collectors compete to acquire their desired pieces. Invader remains a cornerstone of French urban art, regardless of the work or object.

If you are based in the Paris region, you can pick up the artwork directly from our gallery located in the 11th arrondissement. Otherwise, we ship in Europe. Our works are carefully packaged, protected, and shipped with tracking and insurance.
