A fine Roman follis struck under Constantine I, commemorating the foundation of Constantinople. The obverse features the laureate and helmeted bust of Constantinopolis facing left, wearing imperial mantle and holding sceptre, accompanied by the legend CONSTANTINOPOLIS. The reverse displays Victory standing left on a prow, holding a transverse sceptre, and resting her hand on shield. Mintmark in the exergue, possibly AQP. This coin was likely struck in AD 334-335.
