Stone Foo Dog, China, Ming to early Qing Dynasty. H. 20 cm. Weight 3,35 kg. This is an archaeological artifact with age wear and some damage. 100% authentic. Origin: Leizhou Peninsula where dogs were worshipped since early times. Stone dogs were placed outside and in shrines. There is an old Chinese export seal on one side.
