Genuine and high quality antique handmade wool Turkmen Tekke rug circa 1900 measuring 150 x 100 cm ( 4.9 x 3.2 ft ).Rows of Hexagonal motifs each decorated in light colours in main pale field having similar motifs in bands of inner and outer borders. There are some shades of reds in both sides since rug was naturally dyed left with some abrash colours. This decorative piece has a beautiful colours variations all naturally dyed and has remained in good condition despite its age. Wool is soft and it is an extremely decorative piece with very calming colours. It has a consistent pile with very minor localised wear commensurate with age.
