A very fine Roman bronze follis of Constantine II. The obverse features the laureate bust of Constantine II facing right, accompanied by the legend CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C. To the reverse is another legend surrounding a wreath, with a further inscription to the centre. The outer inscription reads as CAESARVM NOSTRORVM and the letters within the wreath are VOT X, arranged in two lines. Mintmark PLGC in the exergue. This coin was likely minted in AD 323-324. Diameter: (circa) 1.9cm Weight: 3.55g Provenance: Ex Cambridgeshire private collection, acquired 1970s. N.B. Delivery may be longer due to the busier period and we do not guarantee delivery before Christmas.
