ABOUT THE PAINTING:
Azul celebrates the deep waters surrounding the Aeolian Islands in Sicily. It reflects on how certain landscapes—especially those we can’t fully see or know—continue to shape us. The sea here is not just a setting but a presence: beautiful, endless, and unknowable. There is something in the depth that pulls and unsettles, echoing an old, shared anthropological fascination for what lies beyond sight. After painting Azul, I swam out and looked down. For a few seconds underwater, I saw that same blue: still, vast, and out of reach. The work doesn’t try to explain it. It simply brings it back to a word—Azul—and leaves it there, open.
Please note that this lot is for one panel (panel 2) of the diptych. The other painting as seen in the images can be purchased separately with no extra cost for shipment together. Please see my other No Reserve paintings in my profile.

Size: 150 x 80 cm - please note that this painting is panted to the edges, please allow for a fold of min 3cm on each side when stretching. The painting can be installed on horizontal or vertical orientation.

Ships rolled in a tube, however framed option is available at extra charge.

Elle a remporté le premier prix d’ArtBAM, un concours organisé par la galerie munichoise Konsum 163. Finaliste à la fois à la Biennale de Londres et à celle de Florence en 2023, elle a également participé à des événements artistiques mondiaux clés tels que World Art Dubai et The Other Art Fair de Saatchi Art. Ses expositions personnelles ont été présentées au Lighthouse Museum en Sicile et dans sa galerie dirigée par l’artiste dans les îles Éoliennes.
