A sandstone double buffalo head bead talisman from the ancient Dong Son culture, Indochina , first millennium BC.
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand partly, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, artisan hand carving ,cutting, carving and grinding. Small part of one horn is missing.
Purchased 1975 Hanoi/Vietnam by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
