Sorensen - Vase - Cornucopia - Argent 826
A superb and good size piece of Scandinavian design: a solid silver horn as table decoration / cornucopia, with downturned tail, resting on two magnificently smithed sea serpents with ferocious heads for a height of circa 15cm and weight of 190g, with Viking style engraving around the neck and an engraved figure carrying a large horn to the front, beneath annotations and date 1893. Stamped with Jeweller´s mark of Sorensen and date of manufacture 1892.
Condition: Very good. Miniscule bump, no further significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age.
