Koshoku by Nobuyoshi Araki, 1st Printing 2008 limited to 500 copies , signed on the second white page., with title The book was edited by Rat Hole Gallery to commemorate Araki's award of Austrian Decoration of honour for Sciences and Arts in 2008 It brings together a work which reflects the themes of Eros & Thanatos ( Sex and Death ) , Kinbaku ( Japanese Art of Bondage ) , flowers bunches, skyscapes and a portraits of his beloved city Tokyo. You will note at the end of the book a photo of his cat Chiro and one of Yoko , his wife who died in 1990. 308 pages , large format : 29 x 35 cm , It's better to not try to open wide the pages as it is a softcover ( should be better with a hardback bound) The book with box is 2 Kg 200 These copies are sold out since many years and difficult to find one. The conditions stayed very good, corners a bit worn with folds , visibles also inside , The Obi few worn on the edge Inside the photos ( full page) are excellent.
