During the 1930s–1940s, Longeau was one of Enicar’s registered trade names, used on various civilian and military-type pocket watches, making this piece an interesting collectible example of early Enicar production. The watch features a classic Swiss Made dial with Arabic numerals, blued feuille hands, and a small seconds register at 6 o’clock. Inside is a traditional 15-jewel Swiss anchor escapement movement, marked “Ancre – 15 Rubis” on the inner dust cover. The movement winds, runs, and sets correctly.
