Hugo Grotius - De jure belli ac Pacis libri tres - 1712
1712 edition of Hugo Grotius' (1583-1645) groundbreaking work "De Jure Belli ac Pacis Libri Tres" (Three Books on the Law of War and Peace). It is considered his magnum opus.
Hugo Grotius' De Jure Belli ac Pacis is widely regarded as the founding work of modern international law and a milestone in the history of civilisation.
