Important Safety Precautions: Avoid performing push‑to‑advance operations between 9:00 PM and 2:00 AM, as this is when the calendar switching mechanism is active. Doing so may cause gear damage. When adjusting the calendar, it is recommended to first set the time to approximately 6:00. When pushing the crown, hold the case firmly and press the crown straight down. Avoid applying force at an angle. Practical Setting Method (steps for actual use): First set the time to around 6:00. To avoid damaging the calendar mechanism, set the time to a position outside the 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM window before beginning adjustment. Set the date to the day before (shallow push). With the crown in its normal position, lightly and shallowly push to advance only the date to the day before the target date. Example: If today is the 10th, advance the date to the 9th. Advance the date and day of the week to the target position (deep push). From the normal position, perform a full deep push to advance both the date and day of the week simultaneously, one step at a time. Repeat this deep push until the date reaches the position for today. Stop the day display at either English or Japanese, whichever you prefer. Set the time to the current time. Pull out the crown and rotate the hands while crossing midnight, keeping AM/PM in mind, to set the actual current time. The date will advance one day during this process, so adjust to ensure the final correct date is achieved through the “previous day setting + crossing midnight” method.
