Napoleon III Jewellery Box with Hunting Scene, France, late 19th century Elegant Napoleon III period jewellery box, richly decorated with a finely detailed hunting scene in relief around the body. The box stands on ornate gilt feet and is topped with a glass lid set in a decorative brass mount. The interior is lined with a deep red padded pillow and features a small original hook inside, ideal for hanging a ring, pendant or watch chain. Condition In great condition for its age. There is a tiny dent on the left side of the metal and a barely visible small dent on the glass, only noticeable upon close inspection.
