Limited edition of 200 copies of this illustrated short story by Prosper Merimée, signed by the illustrator. Comes with 6 full page and two in-text etchings by Karl Miersch. Very little rubbing, bumping, and wear to the boards and spine. Some soiling to the front and back free endpapers and their recto. Pencil markings on the back pastedown endpaper. The text and illustrations are clear, and the binding is solid. Overall, a nice copy in very good condition.
