This type of organic, flowing form is characteristic of the Bohemian Chřibská (Chribska) glassworks, strongly associated with the renowned designer Josef Hospodka, who was known for creating dynamic flower-like and wing-shaped art glass pieces during the 1960s and 1970s. The bowl features dramatic, undulating contours, executed in solid, heavy layered glass ranging from approx. 2 cm to 6 cm in thickness. The deep marine-blue interior is encased in clear glass, producing beautiful optical effects and strong colour depth when illuminated.
