Ókori római Bronz Legionárius gyűrű a Legion VII Claudia-tól
A Roman Military bronze ring with numeral “VII”, worn by a member of Legio VII Claudia. Rings of this type functioned as identification and status markers within the legion and may also have served as simple seal rings. The austere design suggests ownership by a legionary, non-commissioned officer, or veteran, rather than a senior officer.
During the Imperial period, Legio VII Claudia was permanently stationed in the Balkans, particularly in Moesia Superior. Rings bearing only the legionary numeral are characteristic of military contexts along the Danube limes and associated civilian settlements (vici).
