The "Siet Vignis" Chardonnay is produced by one of the most important and renowned wineries in the Isonzo area. Founded about twenty years ago, Ronco del Gelso cultivates 26 hectares of vineyards, which extend from the hilly area of ​​Cormons towards the Isonzo plain. This is a highly suitable area for growing grapes, thanks to its alluvial soils, which are lean and rich in rocks and pebbles. The climate is mild and temperate, thanks to the shelter provided by the Julian Alps to the north and the openness to sea breezes from the Adriatic. The grapes are vinified as a white wine with fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 19°C using selected yeasts. Before bottling, the wine ages for 12 months in 25-hectoliter oak barrels on the lees. In the glass, it presents a pale yellow color with golden highlights.
