Historical Note The Cristallerie d’Herbatte, founded in Namur, Belgium, operated during the mid- to late-19th century and was later integrated into the famed Val Saint-Lambert crystal works around 1879. Herbatte specialized in semi-crystal glass — a lighter, more playful counterpart to Val Saint-Lambert’s heavy lead crystal.
