The form with integrated side handles is inspired by traditional tea ceremony aesthetics and was designed specifically for hanging display (kake-hanaire). The piece is signed on the base, and it comes with its original wooden storage box, confirming its authenticity. Hide Kato is the son of Mitsuemom Kato, a highly respected master potter of Seto ware, and this work reflects the refined lineage of Seto ceramic tradition passed down through generations.
