This is an exceptional vintage collector’s bag, representing an original and increasingly rare example of the classic Dior Oblique era by Christian Dior. Pieces from this period were produced in limited quantities and were never intended as mass-market items, which makes surviving examples highly desirable today.

Condition

This is a vintage item showing visible signs of age and use.

The bag presents brownish stains and discoloration on the canvas, as well as marks on the interior lining. These are consistent with past exposure to moisture and long-term storage, typical for vintage Dior canvas pieces of this era. The stains appear old and inactive.

The bag has a distinct vintage storage scent, typical for older items kept for many years. There is no active mold, but the scent of age is present.

The snap closure is no longer functional. However, this does not affect the wearability of the bag, as it can be comfortably carried and used without the closure engaged.

The leather trim shows natural wear, creasing and patina, particularly on the strap and edges. Hardware shows age-related wear and oxidation consistent with the age of the piece.

The bag remains structurally sound, with intact stitching and a fully working interior zipper.
