Bundled partial facsimile of the famous Wenzelsbibel, one of the most important medieval luxury manuscripts of Europe (Original from around 1390–1400, Prague).

The present lot consists of a total of 8 pages:
• 4 introductory/cover pages on paper
• 4 pages of high-quality facsimiles on thick parchment, sewn
(no loose individual sheets)

Edited by the Akademische Druck- und Verlagsanstalt (ADEVA), Graz, in the 20th century.
The pages show richly illuminated scenes and floral friezes in the style of the original manuscript and served as bibliophile facsimile edition for collectors and institutions.

Condition:
The parchment facsimile sheets are in excellent condition, without damage, cracks or creases.
The introductory and cover pages on paper show slight, age-related signs of use, but no creases, cracks or defects.
Overall a very well-preserved, collector-worthy lot.

On the photographs visible dark areas are light-induced shadows of the capture.
