Printing Medium

Professional fine art printing on ARCHES Aquarelle Rag 310 gsm - matte paper, offering rich contrast and extremely fine detail.
ARCHES Aquarelle Rag is made from 100% cotton, giving the paper a natural museum-quality feel and longevity. The pure white base contains no Optical Brightening Agents (OBA), ensuring exceptional archival stability and long-term colour permanence.

Printing Technology

The prints are produced in my fine art photography workshop using the Epson SureColor P9500 (44”), one of the most advanced giclée printing systems available for art and photography.

The printer uses a 12 colour UltraChrome PRO pigment ink set, including:
• Photo Black, Matte Black, Light Black and Light Light Black — delivering exceptional black & white tonal accuracy
• Cyan, Light Cyan, Vivid Magenta, Light Magenta, Yellow - ensuring smooth tonal transitions
• Orange, Green and Violet - expanding the colour gamut and subtle tonal depth

For black and white photography, the P9500 uses Advanced Black & White Photo (ABW) technology, specifically designed to produce neutral greys, deep blacks, smooth gradations and outstanding detail without colour cast.

Pigment-based UltraChrome PRO inks offer museum-grade archival longevity, with prints designed to last for decades under proper display conditions.
