Edition No. 6 is the final release in the Edition Series.
Each of these limited editions explores Macallan’s unique approach to whisky making and the meticulous attention to detail required for the process.

The sixth edition is dedicated to the importance of water, specifically the River Spey. This whisky is a tribute to the breathtaking landscape surrounding the distillery; the River Spey, in particular, served as the inspiration for the concept and the color palette. Five different types of casks were used for maturation, including American and European oak. Notably, this sixth edition marks the conclusion of this Macallan series.

Nose: The bouquet is characterized by fresh fruits, dark chocolate, exotic ginger, spicy nutmeg, creamy caramel, and aromatic oak.

Palate: Fruitily sweet and spicy with flavors of velvety plums, juicy oranges, spicy oak, sweet caramel, and intense cinnamon.

Finish: The long-lasting finish is accompanied by toasted oats, gently melting chocolate, spices, and fruit.
