Moldavite is a green glassy mineral tektite, which was formed by the impact of a meteorite 14.7 million years ago. Due to the high pressure in its creation, it has some rounded bubble inclusions.

The impact produced the so-called Ries Crater, in Germany, falling the vast majority of Moldavites in the Czech Republic.

In recent years their value has greatly increased, due to the fact that they are very scarce and are increasingly rare and difficult to find.
