Small wooden box, entirely lacquered in black and hand-painted with polychrome floral motifs, featuring orange and red flowers with green foliage. The hinged lid, edged with a gilt bead border, opens to reveal a plain wood interior; the front fitted with an original hasp latch flanked by floral panels, with two small drawers below fitted with ring pulls. The sides are decorated with further floral compositions and fitted with carrying handles. The base has a shaped apron. Original hardware throughout.
