Riepilogo creato con l’aiuto dell’IA

Descrizione del venditore

The Lhéraud Cuvée 20 ans is one of the classic XOs from the Maison Lhéraud, a historic Cognac house highly regarded for its traditional, non-industrialized style.

Technical data sheet
Category: Cognac XO (Extra Old)
Age: Minimum 20 years in barrel
Area: Petite Champagne
Grape varieties: Ugni Blanc, Colombard
Aging: Limousin oak barrels
Alcohol content: approximately 43% vol.
Sensory profile (typical Lhéraud)
Nose: dried fruit, toasted hazelnut, light flowers
Palate: full, warm, with candied fruit, vanilla, sweet spices
Finish: long, elegant, slightly spicy

Some versions also feature more evolved notes, such as flambéed pineapple, citrus, and cinnamon.

This cognac is interesting because:

It is not as "smooth" as the big brands.
It has a more territorial and traditional style.
An excellent entry into the world of serious cognacs without stepping up to vintage or hors d'âge.

Tasting suggestions:

Perfect after dinner.
Best served neat, in a balloon or tulip glass.
Room temperature (18–20°C).

Recommended for whom?
Those who already drink structured spirits (rhum agricole, sherry cask whisky).
Those who want to move from commercial VSOPs to something deeper.
Also excellent as an "important but not extreme" gift.
