“Cheetah Cub” is part of the ongoing series “Wild Cat Cubs” - a body of work dedicated to wild cat cubs. “Cucciolo di ghepardo” fa parte della serie in corso “Cuccioli di felini selvatici” - un corpus di opere dedicato ai cuccioli di felini selvatici. Each piece is developed individually within a coherent conceptual framework. Ogni pezzo è sviluppato individualmente entro un quadro concettuale coerente.

ARTIST

Schu (b. 1976, Germany) is a contemporary figurative artist specializing in observational drawing focused on wild animals. Schu (nato nel 1976, Germania) è un artista figurativo contemporaneo specializzato in disegno osservazionale focalizzato sugli animali selvatici. His work is based on a minimalist approach to composition, the reduction of background elements, and precise realism derived from careful observation of structure, light, and detail. Il suo lavoro si basa su un approccio minimalista alla composizione, sulla riduzione degli elementi di sfondo e sul realismo preciso derivato dall’osservazione attenta di struttura, luce e dettaglio. By isolating the subject, the artist draws attention to the relationship between the depicted animal and the viewer. Schu studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences Trier (Germany), sculpture and design at the University of Kansas (USA), and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. Schu ha studiato design grafico presso la Università delle Scienze Applicate di Trier (Germania), scultura e design presso l’Università del Kansas (USA) e scultura all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Cracovia.
His works are held in private collections in Europe and internationally. Le sue opere sono presenti in collezioni private in Europa e a livello internazionale.
