Aveline — “Half remembered”
Original hand-painted artwork on deep-edge canvas by Aveline, an artist based in Aosta, a small Alpine town in northern Italy near the French and Swiss borders.

The painting depicts a delicate porcelain-like plate or ceramic fragment floating on a soft lavender background. Blue ornamental details, floral traces and a subtle landscape motif create the feeling of an old decorative object, partly remembered and partly imagined. The irregular golden edge adds a refined accent and gives the work a poetic, almost dreamlike quality.
