David Gerstein (1944) - Champion

Ho sempre avuto una passione insaziabile per il ciclismo. Ho iniziato a percorrere i campi per piacere, ma questa passione è cresciuta nel tempo. Ho cominciato a guardare gare in TV e a dipingere ciclisti in tutte le loro forme. Gli elementi di movimento e velocità mi hanno davvero interessato. Mi piace dipingere per far sembrare queste sculture ferme come se prendessero il volo.

Ha studiato e insegnato al Bezalel Academy of arts a Gerusalemme; Beaux Arts, Parigi; Art Students' League, N.Y; St. Martin's, Londra.
Esposto in mostre personali all'Israel Museum, Haifa Museum e Herzeliya Museum, e in innumerevoli gallerie pubbliche e private in Israele, Europa e America.
La sua arte è permanentemente installata in città e musei quali Israel Museum, il Tefen Open Museum, The Science Museum a Gerusalemme; le città di Gerusalemme, Ramat Hasharon, Lod, Herzliya e Avdat Antico; la Gerusalemme
