It is capable of writing.
It is a push-button type at the clip.
The push button has some issue .
Press the lower part of the clip to extend the pen tip.
Pressing the upper part of the clip is supposed to retract the pen tip, but it is unresponsive and does not retract properly. Lightly pressing the pen tip against a notebook or similar surface will retract it.
The pen contains genuine SHEAFFER ink and is fully functional.
