Descrizione del venditore
Very rare Night Guitar No. CA5, made in Japan probably in the early '60s.
I believe these guitars were made to handle both (very light) steel strings or nylon strings (like Yamaha's Dynamic Guitars). I like how it sounds with steel strings so currently it has 0.09 steel strings on.
Check the demo video I recorded playing the guitar: https://youtu.be/NzY7FZjeatI
The guitar is playable, as you can hear from the video it has a cool old-school Folk sound. Some frets are dead after the 12th fret, however this is not the kind of guitar you'd choose for soloing past the 12th fret, so that shouldn't be a problem.
Please check the photos and the videos carefully, they are the best way to understand the guitar's condition & sound.
This guitar is probably around 60 years old, so adjust your expectations accordingly. It has scratches, blemishes and imperfections. It will feel different compared to a new instrument. It is playable but it has not been professionally setup or checked, so there may be things that can be done to improve it. I'd suggest it to people who have some experience with vintage guitars and are willing to make adjustments down the line, or who can embrace the imperfections in exchange for a special sound and vibe.
