Crowned Mind
Influenced by the expressive language of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Art Brut and primitive imagery, this work develops its own visual narrative through spontaneous mark-making, symbolic forms and vibrant color contrasts.
A powerful contemporary composition where a fragmented face emerges from an energetic network of spontaneous marks, vivid colors, and expressive gestures. A symbolic crown hovers above the figure, suggesting resilience, imagination, and inner strength rather than literal royalty.
Balancing abstraction and figuration, the painting combines raw brushwork, layered textures, and dynamic oil stick lines to create a work that feels immediate, instinctive, and emotionally charged. Inspired by the visual language of urban art and Neo-Expressionism, it invites viewers to discover new details and narratives with every observation.
Protected with a protective varnish for enhanced durability and color preservation.
