Shipping and Handling: To ensure maximum protection, the artwork is shipped rolled in a rigid cardboard tube; therefore, it is SOLD UNFRAMED AND WITHOUT A STRETCHER BAR. Upon request, the collector may arrange for the canvas to be stretched: in this case, the costs for the service and the adjusted shipping fees will be at the buyer's expense. The canvas measures approximately 104 x 176 cm to allow for framing.
The certificate of authenticity will also be sent with the work.
Alema Stabu is a multidisciplinary artist working on the synthesis of form. Her style, often defined as 'Botanical Minimalism', stems from the observation of natural cycles filtered through a rigorous geometric lens.
In her works, Alema reduces the floral element to pure chromatic fields, eliminating the superfluous in order to exalt the architecture of the flower. The choice of bold palettes and the use of sharp outlines reflect her pursuit of a universal aesthetic order, transforming the canvas into a timeless design object.
Soft Opening :Three tulips rise from a soft powder-blue ground in varying stages of opening, each one a study in restrained anticipation. The largest blossom, centred and dominant, reveals a blush interior framed by deep crimson and warm cream petals — a precise geometry of enclosure and emergence. To its left, a smaller bud holds itself tightly closed, while to the right a third flower opens laterally in layers of peach, coral, and rose. The leaves — broad flat fields of forest green, teal, and midnight blue — anchor the composition with quiet authority. The near-monochrome background dissolves all distraction, leaving only the essential architecture of growth: three voices, one breath.
