IWC - Pilot - 3740 - Uomo - 1989

Offered is an original IWC Pilot Chronograph Ref. 3740, purchased new on 29 March 1989 and accompanied by its original stamped warranty booklet and instruction manual.

The watch has been in my family since new and originally belonged to my father.

In 2024 the watch underwent a complete professional overhaul by a specialised watchmaker. Approximately €1,200 was invested to ensure it is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.

The service included:
- Complete movement overhaul
- New acrylic (plexiglass) crystal
- New crown
- New chronograph pushers
- Replacement of worn movement components
- New battery
- New leather strap
- Pressure test

The watch is running correctly, with all chronograph functions operating as intended.

The stainless steel case remains in very good condition with attractive original brushed surfaces and only light signs of careful wear. The dial and hands are original and well preserved.
