His solo exhibitions with JPS Gallery include MYTHOLOGYANITYISM (2021), Not At The Dinner Table (2022), and The Speagle’s (2024), marking a continued expansion of his international presence. Influenced by underground skate culture, street art, comics, and Southern folk traditions, Speagle’s work is defined by bold color, expressive mark-making, and symbolic imagery. His visual language blends references from Native American totems, outsider art, mythology, and biblical narratives, creating compositions that examine time, mortality, and the human condition.
.
Currently he is working on a new series Inspired by his wife’s advice to “paint your life and us,” he began The Speagles, a series focused on the realities of raw, unfiltered family life. These paintings confront the truth of domestic experience, the joy, tension, exhaustion, and love that exist behind closed doors. While these paintings of everyday moments are deeply personal, and intimate they define us and connect us all in a universal truth, offering reflection, healing, and honesty in a world saturated with curated images
In addition to his studio practice and his core works of art. Speagle is an active public artist, known for large-scale murals including The Miracle of Hickory (2019) and projects associated with Art Basel Miami.
He is also the founder and creative director of ATAC Gallery, an artist-led platform dedicated to fostering contemporary art and community engagement.
