“Golden Athena”

Golden Athena presents a majestic interpretation of Atena, the ancient Greek goddess associated with wisdom, strategic warfare, courage, and protection.

Standing among monumental classical columns, Atena is portrayed wearing richly detailed golden armor and a flowing ivory drapery. Her spear and shield emphasize her strength and warrior character, while her calm and confident expression reflects the wisdom and dignity traditionally associated with the goddess.

The warm golden tones of the armor and fabric contrast with the deep turquoise sky and atmospheric ruins, creating a dramatic yet harmonious composition. The classical architecture and mythological subject give the work a timeless character, while the painterly treatment brings a contemporary artistic interpretation to the ancient figure of Atena.

Behzad Mojarad Bigdeli, known by his stage name “BarBeni,” was born in 1981 in Tehran, Iran. He completed his studies in architecture and later obtained a two-year degree in sculpture from the University of Tehran.

Artista autodidatta nel disegno, ha tenuto diverse mostre su temi quali libertà, diritti umani e natura, vincendo numerosi premi nei campi dei cartoons e delle caricature.

Per quasi tre anni vive in Germania, dove ha partecipato a diverse mostre collettive a Oldenburg e Amburgo.

Durante questo periodo molte delle sue opere sono state vendute su piattaforme rinomate quali Catawiki, SingularArt e Saatchi.

È molto appassionato nel condividere le proprie esperienze e competenze con la giovane generazione.
