Notes for Travellers in Egypt" tenth 1907 edition with Maps, plana of temples and numerous illustrations....First published in 1890 by Thomas Cook & Son, it was designed as an indispensable companion for Victorian tourists cruising up the Nile.
Book in overall fair condition, original cloth with bright gilt, light stains, wear around edges and corners, shelfwear. Inside a stain on lower corner, in some pages faint, in other pages more visibile. A few pen annotations on margins of some pages. Pages overall clean. Maps very good. Binding a little shaken but all pages atrached.
