Para Bruchsicher Military – Vintage German Mechanical Watch – Black Factory Dial
A very characterful Para Bruchsicher Military, a vintage German mechanical wristwatch with strong military presence, authentic utilitarian design and a beautifully aged black factory dial.
This watch features a 35 mm chromed case, acrylic crystal and a striking black dial with aged Arabic numerals, small seconds at 6 o’clock and the period-correct inscription “Bruchsicher”, meaning shock-resistant / break-resistant in German. The case back is also marked Bruchsicher and Antimagnetisch, adding to the technical military spirit of the watch.
The watch is powered by a mechanical German movement, visible in the photos and marked 15 Rubin, a charming detail from the era of traditional hand-wound watchmaking.

Story & Heritage
This Para Bruchsicher Military carries the practical soul of early German tool watches: simple, readable, mechanical and built around function rather than decoration. The word “Bruchsicher” on the dial and case back reflects the period focus on robustness, while “Antimagnetisch” points to a time when watches were promoted for reliability in demanding daily environments.
Its black dial, luminous-style numerals, small seconds display and honest mechanical construction give it the appearance of a true field companion — the kind of watch designed to be read quickly, worn daily and trusted in practical situations.
Today, this Para stands out not because it is perfect, but because it has survived with real character. The patina, the aged dial and the German mechanical movement all tell a story of decades of use, making it an appealing piece for collectors who appreciate authentic vintage military aesthetics and historical charm.
